“This year Mittelmoda has joined forces with super-brand Levi's. The special partnership acted to confirm Mittelmoda's reputation as one of the biggest and most successful international design competitions.
Six talented designers were hand-picked from over 700 entries for the Levi’s Special prize, winning the chance to show a capsule collection at Mittelmoda 2008. (...) Marta Marques chose to work closely with the Levi's 501 brand identity. Using several pairs of 501s, Marques constructed a pair of hugely oversized jeans. We also loved her cape in washed-out black denim.''
